The Hotel Astoria is located on the northern shore of Lake Balaton, in the centre of Balatonfüred – 150 meters from the shore – within the Reform Era district. The hotel is a listed building. Its stately appearance makes it one of the most characteristic buildings of Balatonfüred. The building of the hotel was originally a holiday home built by the Dőry family in romantic style back in 1868. The elegant and intimate appearance of the building provides a perfect environment for weddings, family and other events, minor conferences, meetings and team building trainings.
